Here in the NorthEast were starting to see some Spring-like weather this is a great time to start that Spring cleaning of your vehicles. Its very important to get rid of all that dirt that has been sitting on the paint surface over the winter months.
The first thing you need to do, is to thoroughly wash the vehicle, using Race Glaze® L.A.S. Wash. This highly concentrated liquid will gently and safely remove surface contaminants this is one of the best things you can do to insure the durability of the paint wash it frequently. See our tip Proper Car Washing for tips on what weve found to work nicely.
Once youve washed the vehicle, whats next, is to clean, polish, and protect that same surface. By using Race Glaze® Polish & Sealant, you can easily do all three of these, in one very easy operation. This unique product will chemically deep clean the surface (it removes bugs, tar, sap, gas stains, grease, oil, oxidation, etc.). It also polishes out minor imperfections (if you have scratches, or acid rain spots in your clear coat, check out our tip Checking & Fixing Paint Condition).
Lastly, it seals the surface to help protect the surface against environmental contaminants. The durable protective coating is basically a micro thin film, of crystal clear polyethylene. This very shiny and slippery surface will last 4-6 months on average. To enhance the shine (& protection) between coats of Race Glaze® Polish & Sealant, spray & wipe with Race Glaze® Gloss Highlighter. Clean and protect your vinyl, rubber, plastic, and leather, with Race Glaze® Trim & Leather Renewer. This dressing/protectant cleans mild soils (including old wax from textured vinyl moldings), renews the appearance, and provides protection against harmful ultra violet rays. In addition, it will restore elastomers and plasticizers, and is anti-static.
